MAP is a division of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP), the largest professional non-profit association of parliamentarians in the world.  

NAP is divided into eight regional districts each represented by an elected district director.

Manitoba is located within District 5, along with the US States of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota, as well as Saskatchewan and Nunavut in Canada.

 The two levels of accreditation above its basic membership level are:

Registered Parliamentarian (RP)®
